The purpose of these posters is to convey to the public, for that generally to see posters posted clearly in strategic places such as the main streets, markets, and many other places.There types of poster which consist of propaganda poster which aims to provide enthusiasm and motivation to the audience. for example the posters of Indonesian independence aimed at encouraging the youth. Affirmation poster is a posters made to motivate and inspire readers to achieve success. such as posters about scholarships and study guides. Research poster is a posters that contain information about research and research results to gain support from the audience. usually posted in school and campus information boards, Wanted poster is a poster made to search for lost people, looking for fugitives and looking for employees in a company. The examples we see most often are job vacancies and the missing person.it is most often used to look for criminals.  Comic Poster is a poster made with a form of cartoons drawing as well as to provide other information but in the form of comics. The effect of the comic poster  is that the reader becomes comfortable because of the style of deliver the information as if reading a comic, movie poster is a poster to promote the latest films so people do not miss the latest movies and  usually made by the cinema owners to get a lot of audience.Furthermore, campaign poster is a poster that aims to get community support to certain people. The most common example we see is the poster of the election poster. Last but not least, the commercial poster is a poster that contains the promotion of goods or services owned by a company. most found in malls and other shopping centers. This poster design design to be as good as possible, so that people can see the advantages of the product. usually contain the famous actor or artist model visuals.  Using images on a poster will make people interested in reading and doing what is on the poster. The image used should corresponding to the theme for the poster to create a good message form the poster. The use of the image can create public interest in reading an awareness poster created. Some people tend to lose interest right after they read the writings or typography on posters and some people want something unique and interesting such as using images. According to my own observations, there are several poster benefits such as posters can facilitate the spread of information widely, inspiring people who see it, becoming a livelihood for people with graphic design capabilities and posters can be used as a tool to share advice, criticism, motivation, and guidance to the public in general. CHAPTER THREE          METHODOLOGY 3.1 Introduction Methodology covers the methods and approaches used to achieve the aims and objectives of the study. The methodology of the study makes the study more systematic and the course of study is more focused on achieving the objective. This chapter explains the methodology of the study used in the study. The researcher have carefully planned the research methodology and strategies used to obtain information and data through definite rules. This chapter will also discuss in detail some of the key points in the methodology and strategies used in completing this study, among others. 3.2 Research Methodology The methodology is also a theoretical analysis of a method for researcher to create a systematic inquiry to raise number of knowledge, it is also a systematic and organized ways to investigate certain issues that require an answer. The essence of research can be understood by studying various aspects that encourage researcher to conduct a research. Motivation and research purposes in general are basically the  research is a reflection of human desires who are always trying to find out something about certain issues. The research methodology goals is discovery, finding proof and development of issues.  The research is an approach to achieve the goals and objectives of the research. The research carried out is systematic in nature and emphasizes the information to achieve the objectives set. While sampling is taking part as a fraction of a population represents the population. Researchers have some of the population of people who are working in advertising and experts designing posters, and had taken sampling through questionnaires and interviews. Researchers also carry out data collection through observations of the atmosphere, visual, and interaction in the field. On the other hand, research methodology is the knowledge to achieve understanding with the accurate conditions. The research method is basically a scientific way of obtaining information with a particular purpose and objective.  3.3 Quantitative Research Method  Quantitative is a method that emphasizes on the objective aspect. In order to perform measurements, every social phenomenon is outlined in some components of the problem, variables and indicators. Each variable that is defined is measured by giving the symbol symbols of different numbers according to the category of information related to that variable. The main purpose of this methodology is to describe a problem but to generate generalization. Generalization is a fact of truth occurring in a reality about a problem that is expected to apply to a particular population. Data is a tangible example of a reality that can be predicted to the level of reality by using a certain quantitative methodology. Quantitative research holds further exploration and finds facts and tests the emerging theories.Normally the study or the questionnaire created with a simple questions and multiple choice answers conducting research.
